THIS RESOURCE DOCUMENT, here, is an attempt to provide resources, as well as compile individual stories so that we humanize the victims of these illegal and terrorizing abductions of US residents. In many cases, the charges brought forth to detain people have not been clearly listed in detail. A warrant is generally required to have a detailed list of the alleged criminal offense(s) or charges. It must state the crime the person is accused of, be signed by a judge, identify the suspect, and outline the probable cause for the arrest. But if agents do not produce a warrant in the first place, that’s yet another avenue where a person’s rights are being violated. And, as we know, and as should be repeated in discussions with others, being undocumented is not a violent crime, or even a federal offense — it is a civil offense. There are also many reports of abhorrent conditions in detainment, including little or no access to medical treatment. In the listings above, you will find several individuals who were “found unresponsive”, died in hospital, or died because of no access to medications or treatment they were prescribed before being detained. The trump administration, the Department of Homeland Security, who directs ICE, and the Department of Justice are responsible for what can only be called arbitrary detention (violating the right to liberty), violating the 4th amendment (unreasonable seizure), violating the international Convention Against Torture (inhumane conditions, lack of basic needs), crimes against humanity, and murder — for all of which should be independently investigated, follow rule of law, with all those responsible for these crimes to be held accountable — no matter how long it takes.
