NEXT LAD MEETING: Democracy is Not a Spectator Sport, Wednesday, February 7, 6:30pm, via zoom. You don’t want to miss this one!

We’ll have CANDIDATES: Polly Christensen and Marta Loachamin (incumbent), will both be in the primary June 25, for Boulder County Commissioner District 2 (regardless of which of the three Commissioner districts you live in, Boulder County voters vote for all District Commissioners on their ballot. For the 2024 ballot, that’s District 1, and District 2 Commissioners). We’ll also have Rhonda Solis, incumbent, who’s running again for State School Board CD8. LAD Board Member Beth Utton, will give us a report on Heather Cox Richardson’s latest book, Democracy Awakening. LAD Board Member Annie Colvin will introduce our NEW recurring feature, Biden Delivers, detailing accomplishments from the Biden administration.
